All other rehearsals will meet from 4:15-5:10. *** Performance Information:Each year in May we have an afternoon of dance performance, which dancers are invited to participate in. Performing gives dancers the chance to share all they have learned throughout the year. This is an informal performance in which the dancers are all involved in creating the dances and get to show the joy of movement. Putting on a performance is an expensive endeavor. I try to keep the costs reasonable as much as possible. There is a $30/per student performance fee payable to the instructor on the first class of the spring session which goes directly towards the rental fee of the auditorium and insurance. Costumes are kept to a minimum using clothes from home, borrowing from my costume collection, or buying simple costumes (a maximum of $20 or usually a lot less). Families attend for free—there is no ticket charge or other hidden fees. Each year’s performance has a special theme. It is a fun way to celebrate our year together and I am there every step of the way to help dancers feel confident and comfortable on stage. All Dance Classes are taught by Jennifer McGowan:Jennifer has danced since her early childhood years with extensive training in Classical Ballet.
